Radio One Atlanta has promoted Neiko Flowers to Assistant Program Director at WPZE (Praise 102.5). He has been with the station since September of 2021.

G-Networks “BOB FM” is celebrating 20 years on the air. The program is now heard on more than 40 stations. Format creator Howard Kroeger says “BOB FM is not as much a format as it is a Life Group.”

United Stations, Audacy, and AccuWeather have extended their partnership with a new, multi-year agreement. The new deal will keep AccuWeather’s services on existing Audacy stations and adds 14 new stations.

90.7 Hope FM (WNFR-FM) Sandusky, MI listeners generously gave $34,446 to rescue 415 children from human trafficking in the Dominican Republic. The station partnered with Crossover Cups Mission for the fundraiser.

It doesn't get any more True Crime than this. What's being called the first statewide prison radio station in Unites States history launched this week. Inside Wire: Colorado Prison Radio will be broadcast to Colorado prisoners on closed circuit TV, and to the public on the Inside Wire app.

Cory Hepola has made it official. He's running for Minnesota governor. Hepola made the announcement on Twitter. On February 8th Hepola went on Minnesota Public Radio to announce he was considering a run. That wound up being his last day on WCCO, where he hosted mornings since 2019.

Georgia Hall-of-Famer and former Urban One host Silas SiMon Alexander announced he had pancreatic cancer back in September of last year. He passed away this week from the disease at the age of 58. His family posted the news on Twitter.
