A recent charity event by Las Vegas top 40 station KLUC (98.5 FM) collected more than $744,000 and over 8,800 bikes for a local organization. The 24th Annual 98.5 KLUC Chet Buchanan Show Toy Drive saw 42 Coca-Cola trucks filled with toys.

Inner Banks Media stations in North Carolina collected more than $100,000 for charity during several recent events, including two radiothons in Greenville and Morehead, and a fundraiser concert called Christmas With the Embers held in Winterville.

Wyoming Could See New Station
A a startup called Skye Media has filed an application with the FCC to license a new station to the community of Ralston, a census-designated place nestled between the towns of Cody and Ralston about 20 miles away from the Wyoming-Montana border.
