Made in Texas Radio programmer and personality Keegan Lucas has been promoted to Operations Manager overseeing all aspects of programming, podcasting, music selection, social media, and on-site  activation for the country music channel.  

Audacy has announced that Lovely Big O will be part of its weekend lineup on The Block (WFBC-HD2) in Greenville, South Carolina (10AM to 3PM). Lovely Big O, a Greenville native, joins The Block after spending the last eight years on the air at WJMZ-FM in Anderson, SC.

Alexis Marshall has been hired as WPLN’s new education reporter. Marshall began her career at WPLN as an intern in 2018 before joining as a full-time producer and host for Morning Edition.

Audacy has added Ian Camfield to morning drive on KQMT-FM The Mountain in Denver. Camfield has a storied broadcast career and is also heard on Audacy stations in Detroit and San Diego.

Despite the decline in revenue, CEO Mary Berner said the company is in an "enviable financial position to effectively navigate through the continuing headwinds." She called it a "solid" performance in the quarter.

Earlier this year Amazon launched Amp, hoping to "reimagine" radio, bringing on former syndicated host Zach Sang as one of its early hires. Turns out getting people to listen to radio that's not really radio isn't all that easy. On Friday Business Insider reported the Amp division at Amazon cut 150 people.

The announcement of Kahn's passing was posted to LinkedIn by Patty Kincaid. Kahn, the founder of Media Staffing Network, had been battling cancer for several years. She died Friday surrounded by her family.
