Samsung has named the SiriusXM streaming radio app as its best music app distributed in the Samsung Galaxy Store for 2022. In a statement, SiriusXM said the app was honored for its success in marketing, promotion, development and design.

The FEC has adopted new disclosure requirements for online political ads, clarifying that such spots must identify the sponsor of the ad The rules require the message to clearly state that it has been paid for by a PAC or other group.
Norm Pattiz Dies at Age 79
The Westwood One founder died Sunday, the cause of his death has not yet been released. Pattiz launched Westwood One in 1976. He would also go on to launch Courtside Entertainment and Podcasst One.

KUIC Raises $63,000 for Leaven Kids
Alpha Media's adult contemporary station KUIC (95.3 FM) in Vacaville, California raised more than $63,000 for a local charity during its fifth-annual KUIC Radiothon for Leaven Kids. Contributions increased by about $23,600 compared to last year.

KOSI Raises $245,000 for Charity
Bonneville's adult contemporary station KOSI (101.1 FM) raised more than $245,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Denver during its recent holiday radiothon. The amount was about $45,000 more than the station raised for the charity last year.
