Cumulus' WMAL-FM in Washington, DC has raised $393,622, to help house families of injured military members, during its annual two-day WMAL Operation Fisher House Radiothon. The campaign raised $25,000 more than last year.

Country station KJJY-FM set a fundraising record during its Two Days of Compassion Radiothon for the Compassion Fund of Variety – The Children’s Charity by raising $150,066. The station also put 525 teddy bears into the arms of children in local hospitals.

The BetQL/Audacy relationship continues to grow with a new MMA boxing show featuring two Audacy hosts. "Tapped Out" will air Saturday evenings starting December 11.

A multi-faceted partnership has been worked out between Audacy and Hard Rock International. The joint venture includes theater space, festivals and cafe events.

iHeartMedia Los Angeles’ KFI-AM 640 announced on Wednesday that its 11th annual KFI PastaThon raised a record-breaking $933,502 and 115,324 pounds of pasta and sauce to benefit local charity Caterina’s Club, which provides more than meals to kids in Southern California. 

Long-time radio industry executive Kerby Confer has made a $5.3 million donation to Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania to create a state-of-the-art media center for students looking to go into radio, video, podcasts, live streaming, and other forms of broadcasting.
