Since 2012, WJBE-FM in Knoxville has been owned by Joe Armstrong. Now Armstrong is in jeopardy of losing the station because he did not include, in two license renewal applications with The FCC, that he was convicted of a crime. The Commission does not take that omission lightly.

Punch Could Cost Man 2 Years in Prison
Alexander Vera was caught on camera punching KERN-AM Bakersfield host Ralph Bailey, breaking his jaw. On Tuesday Vera pleaded no contest to felony assault and now faces two years in prison when sentenced in August.
AM Sells For $800K
Costa Media Boston is purchasing WFAX-AM, which is licensed to Fairfax, VA, and its FM translator W264BD, from Newcomb Broadcasting Corporation. The sale price is $800,000.
KMOX Adjusts Lineup
News Radio 1120 AM and 98.7 FM KMOX is making some lineup changes. The station will expand the morning show and will debut a new midday show beginning May 31.
