Cumulus Topeka radio stations Majic 107.7/KMAJ-FM (AC) and V100/KDVV-FM (Rock) have been recognized with five awards by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters in the KAB’s 2022 Station Awards for Excellence in Broadcasting.

NPR News says it will open a bureau in Kyiv, Ukraine that will help the news organization better cover the conflict there. The bureau will be led by Joanna Kakissis, who has already produced reports from throughout Ukraine.
Staffers at WFAE Charlotte to Unionize
Editorial staff at Charlotte's WFAE (90.7 FM) have voted to unionize with SAG-AFTRA, becoming the first public radio station in the Carolinas to do so. More than 70% of WFAE's editorial staff signed a petition to unionize.

Audacy's Denver-based classic rock station KQMT (99.5 FM, The Mountain) raised over $100,000 for Project Sanctuary during its recent Helping Heroes Heal radiothon. Since 2018, KQMT has raised a total of $250,000 for the organization.
