KALC-FM Denver Comes Up Big For Kids
The station raised $1.3 million for Children’s Hospital Colorado, part of the Children’s Miracle Network during Alice 105.9’s Cares for Kids Radiothon in Denver. The amount donated during the 20th annual radiothon brought the overall fundraising total to over $24 million since 2001.

The Columbus Radio Group hosted “COATS FOR A CAUSE,” to benefit the Columbus Homeless Families Foundation, and the response was overwhelming. GM Erik Schmidt said, “Our listeners answered the call for donations of new coats, hats, gloves, & scarves as the area was hit with the largest snowfall of the season so far."

Ethics Complaint Filed Against Host
Scott James is the owner and morning show host on Talk 92.1 WDDQ in Voldosta, Georgia. He also happens to be the Mayor. The NAACP and other community groups have filed an ethics complaint against James. They claim comments he makes on his show violate the city's ethics ordinance.
