Former NFL tight end-turned-broadcaster George Wrighster is the newest host on the 24/7 all-sports Mad Dog Sports Radio channel. Wrighster will host Night Cap, a late night summary of sports of the day.

SportsGrid Radio and SiriusXM announced today that they are teaming up to launch the SportsGrid Radio Channel on SiriusXM on January 7. The SportsGrid Radio channel will be available to SiriusXM subscribers on channel 204. SportsGrid Radio will be replacing the VSiN channel, which will air on SiriusXM until 12/31.

Streaming company ​TuneIn has hired Richard Stern as its new CEO. Stern replaces Juliette Morris who was promoted to CEO, from CMO, in July of 2019. Before joining TuneIn Stern led Audible’s global product and design organizations.

SiriusXM has inked a long-term agreement with the NBCUniversal News Group. The agreement will keep MSNBC and CNBC along with the Today Show Radio channel on SiriusXM.

The SiriusXM and Kia Motors America expansion extends the relationship through 2025. The installation throughout Kia models and trims produced in North America will begin with model year 2022.

The 2020 iHeartCountry Festival Presented by Capital One will stream and be presented as an on-air radio special on October 23. The 7th Annual event was originally set for May 2 in Austin, TX.
