SiriusXM, Dateline Remain Podcasting’s Leaders In November

SiriusXM still stays on top of Triton Digital’s US Podcast Sales Network Ranker for November 2023. The reporting period, running October 30 to December 3, saw the SiriusXM Podcast Network hold the number one spot with 43.7 million Average Weekly Downloads.

Wondery followed at the second spot with 27.1 million downloads and 7.5 million users, while Audacy Podcast Network ranked third with 18.9 million downloads and 6.0 million users. NPR continues to be excluded from the ranker for the fourth month in a row due to a planned data collection migration.

The most downloaded podcasts included Dateline NBC (NBCUniversal News Group) at number one, Crime Junkie (audiochuck) at number two, and Morbid (Wondery) at number three. In terms of listeners, the top three podcasts remained the same with Crime Junkie leading, followed by Dateline NBC, and Morbid.

New entries in November for downloads were We’re Here to Help (Audioboom), The Broski Report with Brittany Broski (Audioboom), and Against The Odds (Wondery). For listeners, new debuts included The Old Man and the Three with JJ Redick and Tommy Alter (Wondery), Cover 3 College Football (Audacy Podcast Network), Snap Judgement (Soundrise/PRX), and Dark Arenas (SiriusXM Podcast Network), which debuted for both downloads and listeners.

Triton Digital’s Podcast Metrics, certified by the IAB Tech Lab, are based on Average Weekly Downloads and Users, in line with the IAB Podcast Technical Measurement Guidelines. Participating Sales Networks include content owners/creators and sales representation organizations.
