iHeartMedia DC/Baltimore’s Intern John raised more than $100,000 for the Fisher House Foundation right before Christmas. The Fisher House Foundation provides comfort homes at no charge for military and veteran families while their loved ones receive hospital care.
The seventh Intern John’s Comedy Tour featured on-air personalities from the cluster’s Hot 99.5 (WIHT) and Z104.3 (WZFT).
Fisher House Foundation President Dave Coker expressed, “The generous gifts of fans going to Intern John shows during this tour have led to over $100,000 of support for our military and veteran families. The families we serve find comfort and peace at Fisher House during what is sometimes the hardest days of their life, so it’s great to see so much support coming from ‘Intern John’s Comedy Tour’. Thank you to everyone who has given for helping keep these families together during medical crises.”
