Audacy has entered into a content distribution partnership with Spanish Broadcasting System. The collaboration will bring SBS’s full portfolio of 13 stations, including New York’s 97.9 La Mega and 97.9 La Raza from Los Angeles, to the Audacy app.

SBS operates a range of radio stations in key US Hispanic markets, including Puerto Rico, Chicago, Miami, San Francisco, Orlando, and Tampa. These stations feature a variety of music formats such as Tropical, Regional Mexican, Spanish Adult Contemporary, Top 40, and Urbano.

Audacy Senior Vice President of Digital Audio Content Tim Clarke said, “This alliance reaffirms our commitment to delivering diverse, engaging and top-quality content to our listeners, and we look forward to leveraging our scale to give SBS’ audience a new platform to consume their favorite content while introducing their programming to existing Audacy app users.”

SBS President and COO Albert Rodriguez added, “We believe this to be a win for both companies and more importantly to the U.S. Hispanic audience, which will be able to find our exclusive content on their preferred streaming platforms.”
