Former ESPN Radio host Jason Fitz is joining FOX Sports Radio as the new co-host of its longstanding Saturday morning show, The Fellas. Fitz will join the current host, Anthony Gargano, starting Saturday, September 9.

Jason Fitz, who was let go in ESPN’s Disney-mandated summer layoffs, takes the role in addition to his new multiplatform job with Yahoo Sports. Fitz first came on board with ESPN in 2016, serving as the anchor for College Football Daily on ESPNU. He played a versatile presence on ESPN Radio, hosting an array of shows such as Jordan Rodgers & Jason Fitz, First and Last, First Take, Your Take, Spain and Fitz, and Fitz & Harry.

This completes recent additions to the network’s weekend lineup, including former NFL Tight End Kyle Rudolph and the women-led FOX Sports Saturday with Alex Curry and Monse Bolaños.

Fitz commented, “There is nothing like the incredible relationships you build with listeners when you get to be part of a sports talk radio family. To have the opportunity to continue building those relationships means everything to me, and to do it at FOX Sports Radio is truly a dream come true.”

iHeartMedia Sports EVP of Programming Don Martin and FOX Sports Radio Programming EVP Scott Shapiro jointly stated, “Jason’s addition is such a wonderful fit with the FOX Sports Radio team. Anthony and Jason will host such an electric show together, getting fans jazzed up for each weekend. This lineup has never been stronger or deeper – it’s everything stations need to deliver the most entertaining and engaging football coverage every weekend.”
