Who uses Apple Music? That’s the subject of the latest study by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) into Apple’s service offerings. The research shows distinct trends tying a key demographic to the subscription-based audio streamer.

More than 40% of Apple users across all age groups reportedly use Apple Music. For comparison’s sake, just under one-third engage with Apple TV+. In particular, the adoption of Apple Music was the highest among users aged 35-44, attributed to this group’s familiarity with the iTunes era.

The youngest iPhone users, more likely to stream music, also showed robust usage of Apple Music, though they’ve also integrated alternative platforms such as Spotify and TikTok into their media consumption habits.
