John DeBella, morning radio personality on Beasley Media Group’s WMGK, has been inducted into the Philadelphia Music Alliance’s 2023 Walk of Fame. DeBella is best known in the industry for being one of the earliest pioneers of the Morning Zoo format. John also worked with John Belushi, Dan Akroyd, and Bill Murray on the syndicated The National Lampoon Radio Hour.
The PMA Walk of Fame honors Philadelphia-area musicians and music professionals who have made significant contributions to the world of sound. DeBella’s plaque was presented on April 20.
