Keith Raad is expected to join WCBS-AM and broadcaster Howie Rose for coverage of the New York Mets, according to a report.
On Tuesday, the New York Post said Raad has emerged as the leading candidate to replace Wayne Randazzo, who left the station in December to become a television play-by-play announcer for the Los Angeles Angels.
The Mets still have to approve Raad’s hiring, and Raad himself has to accept the position, the Post said. Raad currently serves as a broadcaster for the Brooklyn Cyclones Radio Network, according to his LinkedIn profile.
