Audacy’s KNX (1070 AM, 97.1 FM) in Los Angeles will produce a live town hall today on the ongoing fentanyl crisis and its impact on local teenagers.

Deadly High: Teens and Fentanyl” will take place at the Audacy SoundSpace in Los Angeles and will run for an hour. The town hall will be simulcast on video through the KNX website.

“There is no issue more pressing for the communities we serve,” Jeff Federman, the regional president of Audacy’s Southern California station group, said on Monday. “Fentanyl is killing our kids, and we want to use our agenda-setting KNX News platform to make sure teens and parents are aware of the dangers.”

The town hall will feature comments from local school, health and law enforcement officials. The event will be hosted by KNX morning hosts Vicky Moore and Mike Simpson, and will start at 5 p.m. local time.
