K95.5, KWEN-FM, Cox Media Group, Tulsa is honoring local nurses on the frontline dealing with COVID-19. The station is partnering with 19th and Grand Records on the Apple A Day campaign, starting May 6.
The station is encouraging listeners to visit k95tulsa.com and nominate nurses who stand out for their compassion and courage in treating patients. Every day during National Nurses Appreciation Week, winners will be announced on the Cash and Bradley Morning Show and receive an Apple iPad.
“The K95.5 team jumped at the opportunity to work with 19th and Grand Records to thank nurses by giving them iPads to help them relax when they are not working long shifts,” said Matt Bradley, Director of Branding and Programming for K95.5. “Never have nurses and other first responders been asked to do so much, and if we can do anything to help them relax during their off time, we are honored to do it.”
