Bryan Cooke, an assistant of Steve Harvey’s co-host, Kier “Junior” Spates, was found dead at a hotel room in Atlanta on Sunday. Spates asked hotel staff to check on Cooke after he was unable to get a hold of him. They found Cooke in bed face down, cold to the touch, with vomit coming out of his nose and mouth. Spates told police the two men went out the night before and smoked cigars and there were no drugs involved. Cooke was 39.
