ABC Radio will provide three one-hour specials during Memorial Day Weekend in addition to the previously announced Somewhere on the Road: ABC Radio’s Country Summer Tour Roundup. The following programs will be available: Tribute to the Troops 2016, Summer Survival Guide 2016, and Return of the Summer Sequels.
ABC Radio’s Scott Goldberg hosts Tribute to the Troops 2016, taking a look at how lost soldiers are honored, soldiers in service are supported, and how families assist their newly committed enlistees. Summer Survival Guide 2016 provides listeners all the information they need to get ready for the summer. Return of the Summer Sequels, will follow-ups like Ghostbusters, X-Men: Apocalypse, and 2: Sorority Rising. In the one-hour special, ABC Radio’s David Blaustein reviews all of the reboots and new installments opening in theaters this summer.
