Audacy Goes ‘On The Record’ To Capitalize On Album Releases

Audacy has debuted On The Record, a new album release initiative to tie into some of music’s biggest stars. The first program aired on May 17, featuring the release of Billie Eilish’s third studio album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT.

On The Record was developed following sweeping promotional efforts for new albums by artists like Taylor Swift and Dua Lipa. The series will continue throughout the year, expanding to include other music formats.

Billie Eilish: On The Record, hosted by Josh “Bru” Brubaker, was broadcast on Audacy’s Top 40 stations, CHANNEL Q, and the Audacy app. The program included exclusive content from Eilish, including discussions on hand-picked tracks from the album, her creative timeline, album inspiration, and how she hopes her fans will feel when listening to her new music.

The On The Record series continues on May 24 with twenty one pilots and the debut of their new album, Clancy. twenty one pilots: On The Record will air across Audacy’s Alternative stations, with similar content to the Eilish special.
