Former NBA star Dennis Rodman will headline SportsRadio 94WIP’s Wing Bowl 24 on Friday, February 5 at the Wells Fargo Center. Wing Bowl has become a celebrated annual radio event. The competition heats up for Wing Bowl 24 with last year’s champion, Patrick “Deep Dish” Bertoletti, former champ Molly Schuyler, and the infamous LA Beast, all competing against the field of local eaters. Philadelphia Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos will act as the Commissioner of Wing Bowl 24 while local rock legend Tommy Conwell will perform the National Anthem. PJ Whelihan’s is the official supplier of wings for WIP’s Wing Bowl 24, their ninth consecutive year as sponsor and supplier.
WIP Morning Show host Angelo Cataldi, who co-founded Wing Bowl 24 years ago with radio partner Al Morganti said, “The only thing missing from Wing Bowl was a celebrity who embodied all of the insanity of the event — the political incorrectness, the controversy, the fierce competition and the deep appreciation of beautiful women. Well, please welcome Dennis Rodman to Wing Bowl 24. Now we have it all.”
A portion of the proceeds from WIP’s Wing Bowl 24 will benefit the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police Survivor’s Fund.
