Synth Voice Tech For iHM
iHeartMedia is planning to use Veritone’s synthetic voice technology to translate shows into multiple languages. The first use will be to translate iHeart’s marquee podcasts for Spanish-speaking audiences.
WYPR Anniversary Podcast
WYPR-FM and WTMD-FM will release the limited podcast series Wavelength: Baltimore’s Public Radio Journey on February 23rd. In recognition of WYPR’s 20th anniversary, the six-episode podcast will examine the history and impact of public radio in Baltimore.
Superadio Launches Podcast Division
Superadio announced a partnership with Mean Ole Lion Media, a podcast network offering podcasts that target Black America. Superadio, will serve as the sales and marketing arm of the partnership.
iHM Partners With Sounder
iHeartMedia is partnering with Sounder to use the company's Audio Data Cloud technology. iHeart says the technology will help podcasters use AI and Machine Learning tools to gain real-time insights on their programs.
Honors For Sheletta Brundidge
Sheletta Brundidge, the founder of ShelettaMakesMeLaugh.com has won the Anthem Award. The Leader of the Year in the Human and Civil Rights category award was presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.
