Who Is iHeart San Francisco’s New Digital PD?

Matty Staudt is the new Digital PD for iHeartMedia San Francisco. Staudt will oversee digital strategy for iHeartMedia’s six San Francisco stations, which includes all digital platforms, on-air personality websites, mobile, and social media. Staudt worked at Stitcher and as Executive Producer, WNEW in New York and KLLC in San Francisco.

New South Hires New PD

New South Radio of Jackson, MS has announced that Matt Mony will be joining Top 40 Y101 (WYOY) as PD, replacing Louie Cruz who left earlier this Spring. Mony was most recently on air at San Diego’s Z90.3 (XHITZ-FM).

Delilah Headed To The Hall

No surprise here. Radio icon Delilah was inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters Broadcasting Hall of Fame during the Radio Luncheon at the NAB Show this week in Las Vegas. This is the third prestigious honor in the past year for the most-listened-to woman on radio, who celebrated the 30-year anniversary of her nighttime radio program last year.

Dayton Sports Host Passes

Former Dayton Sports radio host Mark Schlemmer died Monday at the age of 65. WING-AM made the announcement on Facebook. Schlemmer had open heart surgery in April and had been hospitalized since the surgery. He retired in 2018 due to health issues.

The Very Distinguished Steve Fisher

Former long-time Entercom CFO Steve Fisher has been given the Distinguished CFO Award from the Media Financial Management Association. The award pays tribute to a CFO who has made outstanding contributions to the media industry. Fisher was Entercom's CFO from 1998 until his retirement last month.
