91.ONE, WNXP has hired a new Music Director and a new Production Coordinator as it prepares for a re-launch later this fall. Jewly Hight and Marquis Munson complete the station's weekday on-air staff.

The Jubal Show has joined the line-up at 98.9 Magic FM/KKMG-FM. The previous incarnation of the show, Brooke & Jubal; aired on the station from March 2016-April 2020.

On Sunday afternoon SRN’s Charlie Kirk received official word from Twitter that his account had been “locked” because of questions he raised about mail-in balloting. Sebastian Gorka’s account was “locked” last Thursday.

Hartman was 100 years old when he died and spent 65 years with WCCO in Minneapolis. He was first hired in 1955 and created “Sports Heroes,” a daily interview show with the biggest names in sports. For decades, Hartman was a fixture on the radio. Even at the age of 100 he was still heard each week on the air.

John Shomby is now offering coaching for on-air and programming talent and new country artists. The 35 year radio veteran is running his newly launched consulting firm in Nashville.

The E.W. Scripps Company has announced new roles for Lisa Knutson, EVP/CFO; and Laura Tomlin, EVP National Media. The changes are contingent on the closing of the acquisition of ION Media.

Educational Media Foundation has filled two of three positions among its contemporary Christian music radio networks: K-LOVE and Air1. Mandy Young has been named Group PD, Dan Arthur is Air1 Assistant PD and MD; and an Assistant PD for K-Love is being sought.

Skyview Networks has hired Raul “Rico” Colindres as Vice President for Content Development and Syndication. Colindres will lead the company’s syndication efforts for The Dana Cortez Show and Nick Cannon Radio, as well as look for additional programs to add.

Jeff Anderson hosted nights on KKLZ-FM in Las Vegas. He died Friday, October 9. The company says it was due to health-related complications. Anderson worked in the Las Vegas market for 25 years and was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters’ Hall of Fame in 2008.

Beasley Media Group announces Tradia McCoy has been named as the new Midday Personality at Foxy 99/WZFX-FM in Fayetteville. McCoy most recently hosted middays at WCDX-FM in Richmond.
