Curtis Sliwa goes solo now from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Juliet Huddy, who was hosting with Sliwa in that time slot, moves to early mornings. Huddy will team with Frank Morano and host the 5 a.m. 77 WABC Early News.

Beasley Media Group Boston has promoted Kari Talieri and Jesse Carbone to the position of General Sales Manager at the company’s Boston-based radio properties. They will represent all of Beasley’s stations as well as the play-by-play networks.

Former Flint, Michigan Mayor Karen Weaver has been named as a new host on 910AM (WFDF) Farmington Hills, MI. Weaver was mayor during the Flint water crisis.

Connor McKnight has been added to the White Sox Play-by-Play team. McKnight will join the team as an On-Air Host for White Sox Weekly, and will also call play-by-play on ESPN Chicago, with Darrin Jackson, when Len Kasper fills-in on the TV broadcast.  

Key Networks, has appointed network advertising sales executive Deidra Hoye as Senior Vice President, Ad Sales. She comes over from Premiere Radio Networks where she was VP, Network Sales.

Rose Ryan-Douglas started her radio career as a DJ and newscaster at WKPA and WYDD in New Kensington. After a year each at WFFM and 96 KX, Rose made the move to 3WS where she anchored Morning News for almost 20 years.

News Talk 760 WJR Detroit Mid-Morning On-Air Host Frank Beckmann has announced he'll be retiring after 48 years on the air. Beckmann has hosted “The Frank Beckmann Show” on WJR weekdays from 9:00am-Noon for the last 18 years. He first signed on to WJR in 1972. His final broadcast will be March 26, 2021.

Jeffrey Shannon died Wednesday due to complications from COVID-19 at the age of 56. He worked for Stephens' Z93 in Watertown New York and was Director of Marketing for the local TV station.

The Kojo Nnamdi Show on WAMU 88.5 Washington D.C. will end this spring. The NPR station says the show will end production April 1.

Matty Siegel is celebrating 40 years on Kiss 108 in Boston. The celebration features 40 hours of highlights, proclamations from the Mayor and Governor and celebrity well wishes.
