Jack Mortenson Dead at Age 85
Mortenson Broadcasting Company's Jack Mortenson has died. Mortenson Broadcasting specialized in Christian Radio. The first Mortenson station began in 1960 (WTOF-FM “Tower of Faith”) in Canton, with the second being WHKK in Cincinnati.
Goodman is Back
Salem Media Group says that Southern Gospel personality Greg Goodman is returning to Singing News Radio to host the Top 20 Weekly Countdown. Goodman originated the program as the Singing News Top 10 when he was PD at the network.
Tom Calococci Returns To BMG
Tom Calococci has been named Program Director at Beasley Media Group’s KOAS-FM in Las Vegas. Calococci programmed BMG’s Power 96 in Miami several years ago.

Cox Media Group has removed the interim title from Jaleigh Long's corner office door, appointing her Market Manager for both the Atlanta and Athens markets. Long has been interim manager since early this year when Bob Babin was promoted to Senior VP for Radio at Cox.
Rude Named Executive Producer of Morning Hustle
Reach Media has hired Yonni Rude as the Executive Producer of the syndicated morning show, The Morning Hustle. Rude has been with Radio One since 2016. His most recent post was as the Ops Manager of the Cleveland four-station cluster. He replaces Hollywood.
Malone Returns To Cleveland Airwaves
The Jimmy Malone Show debuts April 1. Fox Sports 1350 (WARF) will air the show Thursday and Friday mornings. The show will also be heard Saturday mornings on Majic 105.7 (WMJI-FM).
