Radio Executives Suzy Schultz and Ben Husmann have joined the Quu Inc. leadership team. Schultz has been named Head of Marketing, and Husmann is the new Product Manager.
New Boss in Texarkana
Townsquare Media announced today that former SpotX Regional Director Chris Tingle has joined the Company as Market President in Texarkana. Tingle replace Brian Sines who was recently promoted to oversee Townsquare's Lafayette and Lake Charles markets.
Solk Promoted in Chicago
Audacy has promoted Greg Solk to VP of Programming and Operations for its Chicago cluster. Solk will now oversee programming WXRT-FM, WBMX-FM, WUSN-FM, WBBM Newsradio, WSCR-AM and WBBM-FM. Solk had previously served as Brand Manager of 93XRT since 2017.
SBS Names Hudson EVP
Miami native Donny Hudson, has been named Executive Vice President of Local media for Radio/TV & Digital for all Spanish Broadcasting System markets. Hudson will remain in his role as General Manager, working out of the SBS offices in Miami.
Roundball Rocks Again
'Roundball Rock', the iconic score composed by John Tesh, is being used again by NBC at the Tokyo Games. The nearly 30 year old theme is being used for men's and women's basketball games on Olympic broadcasts.

Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting Corporation, owner and operator of 91.3 WYEP-FM and 90.5 WESA-FM, has named Jason Price Director of Technology. Additionally, Tom Hurley has been promoted to Engineer.
Blaise Gainey Moving To Nashville
Nashville Public Radio flagship station WPLN, has hired Blaise Gainey as the new Political Reporter. Gainey is moving to Middle Tennessee from WFSU in Tallahassee.
Kamerick’s The Pick For News
After a national serarch, KUNM Radio, at the University of New Mexico, has selected Megan Kamerick to be the station’s next News Director. Kamerick began as a volunteer at KUNM in 2005 on Women’s Focus and joined the staff in 2015.
NPR Names First CCO
Isabel Lara is NPR's first Chief Communications Officer. She has been serving as the Executive Director of Media Relations. Lara has served as NPR's spokesperson since 2014.
