50 Years On NYC Radio
Dennis Elsas marks 50 years on New York radio this month. Elsas started on overnights at NYC Heritage Station WNEW-FM in 1971; and will celebrate his golden anniversary on WFUV; where he has been on the air for more than 20 years.
New PD At WYEP
WYEP, Pittsburgh’s community-supported adult alternative album station, has named Liz Felix as the station’s new program director. She joined the station in 2019.
Brian Gary Returns To Colorado Airwaves
CBA, CMA Awards winner and a member of the Country Radio Hall of Fame, Brian Gary, will be back behind the mic at 1310 KFKA. Gary, who spent 30 years at KUAD-FM; will host afternoons starting July 19.
Max Media Adds Another Local Host
Max Media's WGH-FM in has added a co-host to its morning show. Annaliese Lemieux-Kaplan joins Cash Warren on the live, local country morning show. Kaplan was most recently morning show co-host and Music Director at Saga's WQMZ-FM in Charlottesville, VA.
Cumulus Moves Bartley To Wilmington
David Bartley is the new Program Director for Cumulus' AC station WGNI-FM and Classic Rocker WKXS-FM in Wilmington. Bartley most recently served as PD Cumulus' CHR WQGN-FM in New London, CT.
WABC Adds new Weekend Show
Red Apple's WABC in New York City is launching a new variety entertainment show with Constantine Maroulis. The Constantine Maroulis Show - Cuz Saturday Night Rocks! will air Saturdays from 5 to 6 p.m., beginning this Saturday. Maroulis will also join the station as an entertainment reporter.
Todd-N-Tyler Heading To The Hall
The Nebraska Broadcasters Association will be inducting Todd Brandt and Mike Tyler into the NBA Hall of Fame on August 10th during the 86th Annual NBA Convention. Todd-N-Tyler have dominated Omaha radio morning show ratings for over 26 years.
Bongino To Host New Show on Fox Nation
The new series hosted by Conservative talker Dan Bongino, Canceled in the USA, debuts Monday, July 19th. A new episode will be released each day for five days in season one of the show.
Slow Jammin James Recovering
Kevin 'Slow Jammin' James continues his recovery from COVID-19. He was hospitalized in January. James was a host at 92.3 The Beat in LA in the 90's.
July Sparks At KCFX
Matt ‘Sparks’ Sparker is the new afternoon drive host for Classic Rock 101 The Fox/KCFX-FM, Kansas City. He takes over for Skid Roadie who retired in May.
