The Conservative News/Talk station owned by Dickey Broadcasting Company in Atlanta is extending its morning show to five days per week. The Morning XTRA is hosted by Lt. Colonel Mark Zinno, and Atlanta Radio Veterans, Tug Cowart and Scott “Rhino” Rheinhold.
The Ticket Detroit Adds T.J.
Former Detroit Lions Offensive Lineman T.J. Lang has been added to the Detroit Lions Radio Network. Lang will join 97.1 The Ticket (WXYT-FM) as a sideline reporter for the upcoming NFL season.
Guaranty Adds 2-Hour Local Show
Guaranty Media announced its newest addition to 104.5 ESPN in Baton Rouge. "Hunt and Hill," featuring veteran broadcaster, Hunt Palmer, and former LSU and NFL Star Jeremy Hill, will host the weekday 12-2pm time slot.

Disagreement in Texas
After 21 years in Tyler, Texas, Big D and Bubba are no longer carrying mornings on country station KNUE-FM. The syndicated hosts say they were ousted without being able to say goodbye. WEEI Boston Finds New PD
Jeff Rickard is joining WEEI-FM Boston as Brand Manager. Rickard had previously served as PD and morning show host for Emmis' all-sports WFNI in Indianapolis. Rickard replaces Joe Zarbano who left the station back in January.
Texas Hall To Induct 20
Twenty Texas broadcasters have been added to the Class of 2021 to be inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. The annual induction ceremony will be held November 6 at the Texas Museum of Broadcasting and Communications in Kilgore, Texas.

WPM Director Gene Purcell Passes
The director of Wisconsin Public Media, Gene Purcell, has died as a result of a traffic crash in Madison. He succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash over the weekend. He was 61.
