95.3 KRTY midday host Randy Jones has died. Jones joined the San Jose station in 1999 as a part time fill in host; he moved to full time midday host in 2001.

Kyle Rittenhouse will be featured in an interview with Salem Radio Network’s Charlie Kirk today. Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all five charges arising from his self-defense during a BLM riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 2020.

Programming veteran Elroy Smith has been named Director of Branding & Programming for Star 94.5 in Orlando, and Power 106.1 and Hot 99.5 in Jacksonville.

Rosalie Trombley -- who launched the careers of many rock bands as music director of CKLW The Big 8 -- has died at the age of 82. Trombley is credited with launching the careers of The Guess Who, Gordon Lightfoot, Paul Anka, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Bob Seger and Alice Cooper. More from the station website.

Sarah Quinn is the new Marketing Director for iHeartMedia Greensboro. She will also broadcast weekdays and weekends on HITS 100.3 (WMKS-FM).

More details are coming out about the death of former Detroit Rock DJ John O'Leary. Several local reports out of Detroit say O'Leary was found dead Sunday, under his back porch buried under sheets, shingles and a wheelbarrow. Police suspect foul play and a roommate has been arrested.

After 27 years with Bonneville's KIRO Radio in Seattle, Tom & Curley Show co-host Tom Tangney is retiring. Tom’s last show will be Wednesday, Dec. 1st.
