After a 51-year radio career, Tim Tyler, Morning Host at Tucson's K-Hit 107.5 (KHYT-FM), is retiring. Tyler’s final show is scheduled for May 27th and a talent search is currently underway for a new host at the Cumulus station.

DeMarco hosts afternoons on Townsquare's sports talker WVFN-AM in Lansing. The 62-year old tells The Lansing State Journal that he's done over 2,500 live sports talk shows and he's ready to hang it up and build a new house with his wife in Alabama.

WNYC Studios announced that Kenya Young has been appointed to the newly-created position of Senior VP of WNYC Studios, which is part of New York Public Radio. Young joins WNYC from NPR.

Liz Alesse has been promoted to Vice President, ABC Audio. She most recently served as Director and Executive Producer of Podcast Programming.

Tom Millikan is the new Assistant Brand Manager of 97.1 The Ticket (WXYT-FM) in Detroit. Millikan will continue in his role as executive producer of the station’s “The Morning Show with Stoney and Jansen.”

Will Calder is the new Director of Programming and Operations of Power 96 (WPOW-FM) in Miami. He joins Audacy Miami from Cox Media Group’s WPYO in Orlando and WPOI-FM in Tampa.

Shreveport, LA native Jay Whatley is the new afternoon host on Q97.3 (KQHN-FM). He joins Cumulus from Townsquare's KRUF-FM in Shreveport.

BMSC Media’s WNAV Annapolis, MD is adding “The Yacht Club” to the station starting Sunday, May 22. Baltimore area radio personality Meredith Marx hosts the program focusing on music from 1970-1991.

WPLN Nashville Public Radio and ProPublica’s joint investigation of the juvenile justice system in Rutherford County, Tennessee, is a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize’s feature writing category.

Your Public Radio (WYPR), Baltimore’s NPR news station will welcome Zshekinah Collier to its newsroom starting on June 1, 2022. The addition is part of Report for America, the national service program that places emerging journalists into local news organizations to report on under-covered issues and communities.
