Sam Dick is now reporting for WEKU-FM. The return to radio comes after Dick retired from his WKYT in November after a long career anchoring at the Lexington CBS affiliate. WEKU is headquartered at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond.

Nashville's Music Experience 91.ONE WNXP has hired Justin Barney as Assistant Program Director. Barney joins the public radio station from Radio Milwaukee 88.9 WYMS where he was Music Director.

The Center for Sales Strategy has hired Michael Mayer as a Senior Consultant. Mayer most recently served as the Managing Partner for Summit 365 Advisors, and prior to that, he was the SVP of Advertising & Operations at The Denver Post.

KUDD in Salt Lake City has signed on with VirtualJock.com. The CHR/Pop station will have Corinna handling middays for the on the Broadway Media station.

Media Monitors has promoted Frank Cammarata to Sr. VP of Sales & Marketing. John Fulbright is the new VP of Development. And, new to the company is John Miller who begins his Media Monitors career as the Director of Product Management.

Brian Egan is the new Director of Digital Content and Strategy at AdLarge. Egan previously worked with Adlarge when he ran the Almighty Media podcast network. Most recently, he created and Co-Founded Inlet TV, a digital multi-media live streaming platform. 

Former Dayton Sports radio host Mark Schlemmer died Monday at the age of 65. WING-AM made the announcement on Facebook. Schlemmer had open heart surgery in April and had been hospitalized since the surgery. He retired in 2018 due to health issues.

The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show will celebrate its one-year anniversary today. The Premiere Networks-syndicated show, debuted on more than 400 affiliates last summer, several months following the death of Rush Limbaugh.

Cherry Creek Media Group PD Mark Elliott says he will not be joining Townsquare Media, now that the acquisition has been approved by the FCC. He'll be moving back to Mark Elliott Media, a consultancy he started in 2007 and operated until 2015 before joining Cherry Creek Media 7 years ago.

Shawn Knight, owner of Knight Broadcasting, was killed in a paragliding accident in eastern Ventura County California. Knight Broadcasting owns and operates KRAZ-FM Santa Ynez, KSYV-FM Solvang and KUHL in Santa Maria.
