Borneman Goes Jammin
Former Cumulus GM and Pamal Executive Steve Borneman has joined Jam Media Solutions as COO. Borneman will be responsible for JAM Media's seven radio stations and two online newspapers in North Carolina and Iowa.
Podcast Revenue Booming
While every other media is experiencing steep declines in revenue, it appears podcasting is doing quite well. According to a report in eMarketer today, podcast ad spending will reach $1.1 billion in 2021 and $1.3 billion in 2022.
CMG Raises Big Money For St. Jude
The Cox Media Group Tulsa cluster partnered with Fox-TV affiliate KOKI-TV and set two records in the 2020 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway campaign. The stations sold a record number of tickets and $1.2 million was raised for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
