NASH-FM 105.5 Country radio host Skip Davis has died. The Fort Walton Beach station announced his passing on its Facebook page. He passed away December 3 after a battle with cancer.

First Natchez was started back in 1958 with the purchase of WNAT-AM by Marie and Sammy Perkins. Today, the company run by Margaret Perkins, owns five FM’s covering SW Mississippi and Louisiana and has changed its name to Listen Up Y’all Media
Cannon Going Nationwide
Nick Cannon, who took over mornings at Meruelo Media’s Power 106 in Los Angeles in June, is already heading into syndication. Together, Skyview Networks and Meruelo will be developing Nick Cannon Radio for afternoons starting January 27
Dave Ramsey Makes Apple’s Top Podcast List
Apple named its five most popular podcasts of 2019. Of course The Joe Rogan Experience topped the list. The Daily from The New York Times was second, followed by Stuff You Should Know, The Dave Ramsey Show and The Ben Shapiro Show.
Entercom Promotes Cerulli In San Diego
Karyn Cerulli will become Entercom’s new Market Manager in San Diego on January 1. She’s replacing Bob Bolinger, who held the position since 2015. Bolinger is stepping down at the end of the year to pursue other interests. Cerulli will maintain her responsibilities as D.O.S.
iHeart Promotes Brown In Chicago
iHeartMedia announced that Derrick Brown has been named VP of Urban Programming for the Chicago region. Brown will be responsible for overseeing all urban programming and digital operations for V103, 107.5 WGCI, and Inspiration 1390.
