Iliad Media Management is offering The 'Joey & Lauren in the Morning' show for syndication. The show is based in Boise, Idaho on My 102.7 FM.

Jacobs Media has completed a study on dashboard optimization. In partnership with NAB Amplify a special web presentation, 'Optimizing How Radio Is Displayed in Connected Cars' has been set for November 4.

Altitude Sports 950 AM will flip to sports betting November 1. The Denver station will carry the full slate of 24/7 sports betting programming from VSiN.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, Dickey Betts, is backing the American Music Fairness Act. The AMFA would require radio’s biggest companies to pay royalties for playing music on their stations. Smaller stations would pay a flat fee.

Third quarter earnings season is underway with SiriusXM the first audio company to report. For July, August and September the satellite company reported revenue of $2.2 billion, an increase of 9% over Q3 2020.

At Pandora ad revenue increased 32% to $404 million. The increase was aided by the purchase of Stitcher in Q4 of 2020. Monthly Active Users at Pandora were down, ad-supported listener hours were down and premium subscribers were down.

The Indiana Broadcasters Association held its annual “Spectrum” Awards this week and named WOWO 2021 Station of the Year for Radio Market 1, which includes Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, and South Bend. WOWO’s Kayla Blakeslee also won the Best Investigative Reporting award for her Blakeslee at the Border series.

On Friday, Beasley Media Group's Ramiro, Pebbles and Melissa will celebrate their 20th anniversary working together on the air hosting mornings in Boston. They started working together October 29th, 2001.

iHeart's WTAM-AM in Cleveland announced on Thursday that host Mike Trivisonno has passed away.  He was 74 years old. Trivisonno, a Cleveland native, began his talk radio career in 1986.
