WTBG/WNWS in Brownsville, Tennessee raised $21,533 during the Christmas Basket Radiothon. Proceeds from the 36th annual event will be used to provide food and toys for about 200 families.

Another WNYC Newsroom Hire
WNYC continues to grow the newsroom with the addition of Rosemary Misdary. She will be a Health and Science Reporter. Misdary was an intern at the station in 2019. She was a 2020-2021 NPR Kroc Fellow covering New York for the National Desk and producing for Weekend Edition.
Matthews Launches Tomorrow
According to a report in Penn Live Ken Matthews will launch his new nationally syndicated show on a number of stations, although the specific markets were not announced. Matthews' national show will be heard from noon to 3PM.
Morning Jazz For Bob Kelley
WUCF-FM has brought long-time radio veteran Bob Kelley on board to take over as host of Morning Jazz on 89.9 Jazz & More. Kelley takes over in Central Florida for long-time host Marc Taylor who moved to Florida’s West coast.
WBGO Prepares A Goodbye For Bourne
Michael Bourne, current host of Singers Unlimited and Blues Break as well as previous host of Afternoon Jazz, will retire from WBGOat the end of 2021. The Newark Public Radio station is planning a live, star-studded radio program on Sunday, January 2 for Bourne's sign-off.
