The Atlanta Journal Constitution’s Rodney Ho is reporting that the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame is ending its inductions, and ceremony. The Hall opened in 2007 and includes Georgia radio stars such as Neal Boortz, Clark Howard, Don Sutton and Bert Weiss.
Current president John Long tells the paper that he had no successor and decided to stop actively holding the annual induction ceremony. The facility will now focus on collecting Georgia radio historical artifacts.
The Hall website has been transferred over to Georgia State University to oversee.
