Musberger is 83 years old and worked for CBS sports for decades. He's been CEO of VSiN since 2017 which focuses on sports gambling.

Amaturo Adds Two Stations in California

Amaturo Sonoma Media Group and Redwood Empire Stereocasters have jointly announced that Amaturo is purchasing two RES stations, KZST-FM and KWVF-FM. The sale price was not announced. The transaction is expected to close in the 3rd quarter of this year. An LMA to operate the stations went into effect yesterday.

St. Louis Public Radio Turns 50

Fifty years ago, KWMU debuted in St. Louis. Broadcasting from Lucas Hall on the University of Missouri-St. Louis campus, KWMU (now St. Louis Public Radio) introduced public radio to St. Louis. Clarity Communications owned Country station WLXO announced the passing of long-time Lexington host Karl Shannon at the age of 68. Shannon held the distinction of being the only person in Lexington to be rated number one in morning drive on two different stations; WVLK-FM and WBUL-FM.
