Twenty Texas broadcasters have been added to the Class of 2022 to be inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame at the Texas Museum of Broadcasting and Communications in Kilgore, Texas on November 5, 2022.

Greg Street at WVEE-FM in Atlanta is moving to afternoons. Street has been with Audacy's V-103 since 1995.
iHeart Radio Revenue Grew 2.7% in Q2
iHeart's overall revenue in the second quarter of 2022 was $954 million, an increase of $92.4 million, or 11% from the second quarter of 2021. Broadcast revenue at the company increased 2.7% or $12.2 million. Here's how the other segments performed.
Salem Broadcast Revenue Increases 12.%
Same Station net broadcast revenue at Salem increased 12.2% to $52.4 million from $46.7 million in the second quarter of 2022. Digital media revenue increased 4.5% to $10.8 million from $10.3 million.
CRB Board Of Directors Elections
The Country Radio Broadcasters have completed their elections for the organization’s 2022-2023 Board of Directors. Returning to CRB Officer positions are Kurt Johnson (Townsquare Media) as President, John Shomby as Vice President, and Beverlee Brannigan as Secretary.

Litmus Music is a partnership between two music industry veterans and an investment capital company. Hank Forsyth and Dan McCarroll are teaming up with Carlyle Global Credit to acquire and manage music rights, including both music publishing and recorded music, across genres, geographies and vintages.

The Media Rating Council has continued its accreditation for Media Monitors radio and TV spot data service. Media Monitors provides near real-time intelligence on radio, television, cable, print and display internet.
Helping Charleston School Kids
Cumulus Charleston radio stations and local non-profit iServeWithJoy are collecting donations of school supplies for area children in need. Z93 JAMZ/WWWZ-FM and Magic 107.3/WMGL-FM “5th Annual 843 Day” is a daylong event helping kids heading back to school.
It’s Buffalo Mornings For Daniels
Cumulus Media has hired Laura Daniels to host mornings on Buffalo’s Classic Hits 104.1/WHTT-FM. A native Western New Yorker, Daniels was morning host for WMSX-FM in Buffalo from 2012-2017.
Agua Media Adds Two More
"This Really Happened" and "Cathy Fernandez Spiritual Health" have been added to Agua Media. The podcast network was founded by media personality Rick Sanchez and created for Latino+ audiences.
