NAB: Vaccine Reaction “Overwhelmingly Positive”
On Wednesday the NAB announced that if you were going to Vegas for their 2021 show, you needed to show proof that you had been given the COVID-19 vaccine. CES, also held in Vegas, made a similar announcement days earlier. Two radio companies, Cumulus and Radio One, are requiring their employees get vaccinated.
5 Questions With A Murrow Winner
Earlier this week the RTNDA announced its 2021 Edward R. Murrow winners for excellence in journalism. WLRN-FM in Miami won the Murrow in the overall excellence category for its coverage of the pandemic. John Labonia is the General Manager of the station.
Report: More Changes Coming to ESPN
The New York Post is reporting that Max Kellerman is expected to be removed from ESPN’s First Take, which he now hosts with Stephen A. Smith. The paper says Kellerman will move to ESPN's syndicated radio show to co-host with Keyshawn Johnson and replace Zubin Mehenti.
Columbus Radio Group Comes Through For Kids
Along with the Mark Wahlberg Family of Dealerships, the Columbus Radio Group raised enough school supplies for over 400 central Ohio families. Listeners filled bins at the Wahlberg locations and the supplies were turned over to the Driven Foundation, an organization that provides families with basic human needs.

ABC Labor Day Specials
ABC Audio is offering three different specials to affiliates for use over the Labor Day Weekend. News, Country and Classic Rock make up the holiday weekend menu.
CPB Targets COVID Misinformation
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting is awarding a total of $275,000 in emergency grants to public media stations to address COVID-19 misinformation in their communities. The grants are going to stations in areas with low vaccination and high infection rates, or in emerging hotspots for coronavirus infection.
