The National Association of Broadcasters is gearing up to celebrate the organization's 100th anniversary. The centennial celebration will include activities and events throughout the year, with the cornerstone of NAB's 100th anniversary commemorated in a new online portal that launched this week.

The New York Festivals Radio Awards has announced its grand jury panel for 2023. The grand jury includes over 100 prominent radio industry executives from nearly two dozen countries across six continents, and include representatives from SiriusXM, the BBC, the CBC, Radio New Zealand and others.

Edison Research will host its first webinar of 2023, with a look at the media consumption habits of "Generation Z." It will focus largely on a study that was presented at the annual PRPD conference that examined the media consumption and sharing habits of young consumers born after 1997.

Cumulus Media's Westwood One will broadcast all six National Football League wild card playoff games during the NFL's Super Wild Card Playoffs week, starting Saturday. Westwood One will offer other playoff games and the Super Bowl between January and February.

Cumulus Media's Dallas radio cluster raised $2.3 million for DFW Metroplex charities during 2022, $500,000 more than 2021. In Dallas, Cumulus owns six stations: KPLX-FM, WBAP-AM, KTCK-FM, KLIF-FM, KSCS-FM and KLIF-AM.

The Mellon Foundation has awarded Boston-based WGBH Educational Foundation with a $16 million grant to support the American Archive of Public Broadcasting. The program is a collaboration with the Library of Congress to digitize, preserve and make accessible historic and significant public radio and television broadcasts.
