CBS News Radio has announced the discontinuation of its standalone app by way of a home screen message to users saying, “The CBS News Radio app will no longer be available after July 31. You can download the CBS News App for the latest breaking national news and world news headlines of the day and on the go!”
The app has been poorly received throughout its history, with users and review contrasting their appreciation of the content with the app’s messy layout and frequent crashes.
