Memphis Made Brewing Company is partnering with 98.1 The Max and Ajax Distributing to help hospitality workers in Memphis. Memphis Made is canning some of its Fireside beer in special 98.1 The Max cans with a portion of the sales going to the Memphis Food Industry Emergency Worker Assistance Fund.

The insurance giant held top spot for the third week running in Media Monitors’ tracking of radio’s top advertisers across the country, running a huge 60,246 spots.

SiriusXM reported $1.3 billion in revenue in the second quarter of 2017, that's up 9% from Q2 of 2016. In addition net income of $202 million was up 16% from $175 million in the second quarter 2016. The company now has 32 million subscribers with the addition of 466,000 net new self-pay subscribers in the second quarter 2017.

Research just released by Media Monitors details exactly how ugly its been over the past six weeks. Between April 13 and April 19, Department Store spending on radio is down 98%, Casinos and Hotels are off 89% and Telecom declined 78%.

Seven Mountains Media is the buyer of WNKI-FM, WNGZ-FM, WPGI-FM, WWLZ-AM and WRCE-AM in Elmira, N.Y., and WPIG-FM and WHDL-AM in Olean, N.Y. from Community Broadcasters. No price was announced.

Turns out there is a tide consistently pushing back onto the island. He couldn’t get out to the shipping lanes because it was difficult to get going.

Meruelo Media has closed on the sale of KPWR-FM, Power 106 Los Angeles from Emmis Communications. The station has been programmed by Meruelo for the last month under an LMA. Meruelo paid Emmis $82.8 Million for the station.
