Cumulus, NCAA in Legal Battle

With the cancellation of March Madness in 2020, Cumulus says the rights fees for the 2020 season should not have to be paid. The NCAA disagrees. As a result of non-payment, the NCAA cancelled its contract with Cumulus. In September Cumulus and the NCAA filed competing lawsuits regarding the dispute.

Entercom And Urban One Cut A Deal

Entercom is acquiring three stations from Urban One: WPHI-FM in Philadelphia, Hot 104.1 (WHHL-FM) in St. Louis and 980 The Team (WTEM-AM) in Washington D.C. In exchange, Entercom is trading its Charlotte stations to Urban One.
