The Independent Broadcasters Association has selected Radio Workflow as it’s broadcasting platform of choice. The IBA has endorsed Radio Workflow as the preferred platform for broadcasters to manage the workflow of their traffic, billing, and production system.

Fashion designer Joseph Aboud will launch a weekly show on the Red Apple station February 6th called Threads, according to Yahoo! Life. Threads is also the title of Abboud’s 2005 book about life in the “high stakes world of fashion.”

Clear Media Network has added a new Hip Hop Music format to its 24/7 Radio Network. Clear's President of Programming and Operations Mark McCray will program the new format.

Townsquare Media has entered into an agreement to repurchase a minimum of 10 million of the 12.5 million shares of the company owned by Oaktree Capital. The price Townsquare will pay is $6.40 per share, a 19% discount from last Friday's closing price.

New York Festivals® Radio Awards is now accepting entries. Award winners will be celebrated at NYF’s Storytellers Galaat NAB October 2021.

It's called the BetQL Audio Network. The network, which follows Entercom's recent acquisition of sports data and iGaming affiliate platform QL Gaming Group, will feature sports gambling programming heard across Entercom’s sports stations and on Radio.com.

The Academy of Radio Arts and Sciences of America has selected WRHU Radio Hofstra University to receive the 2021 World Radio Day Award. The honor commemorates World Radio Day, established by United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization and celebrated annually on February 13th.
