On Friday, March 24th, an EF4 tornado ripped through the town of Rolling Fork, Mississippi. When the storm cleared and the aftermath was revealed, 104.3 WZYP knew what they had to do for the small community, and they weren’t going to let the 336 miles between them and the town stop them.

Ohio's Columbus Radio Group took a hike for a worthy cause at the 2nd Annual "March for Meals". Four stations teamed up with sponsors for the 16-mile walk.

The Family Radio Network's 31st annual "Help for the Homeless Hygiene Drive" has set a new record this year, between the group's 5 stations and 11 signals in Wisconsin. 927 businesses, churches, and schools hosted collection boxes for hygiene and cleaning items.

Earlier in March, WIRK's Tim & Chelsea in the Morning received a call from a listener asking for their help. The listener's friend, Jennifer, is in the final stages of terminal cancer and she had one final wish - to meet firefighters.

Audacy's Minneapolis news-talk station WCCO (830 AM) raised over $447,000 to benefit the Second Harvest Heartland during its "let's Kick Hunger Day Radiothon." The radiothon was held on Thursday, February 2 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time.

NRG Media's KFGE (98.1 FM, Froggy 98) raised more than $102,800 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital during a recent radiothon. The "Country Cares for St. Jude's Kids" radiothon occurred between February 1 and February 2.

Forcht Broadcasting's Somerset, Kentucky adult contemporary station WYKY (106.1 FM) presented the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Walk along with the City of Somerset on Monday. The station provided reflective, soulful music as the soundtrack for the walk, with music piped in through speakers in downtown.

Townsquare Media's WKXW (101.5 FM) in Trenton collected more than 1,000 stuffed bears as part of the annual "Feel Better Bears" holiday campaign. The bears were collected for a state police union, and will be distributed to children in situations of crisis.

Classic rock station WWZY (107.1 FM, The  Boss) in Long Branch, New Jersey raised more than $97,000 during the 5th Annual Mistletoe Rock Radiothon in conjunction with Ashley Homestore and Hutchins HVAC. The radiothon took place December 14 at Bar Anticipation in Lake Como.

The Wayne County Ford & Bold Gold Media Holiday Toy Drive Challenge collected seven trucks of toys during its recent charity event. The event was the first to take place in two years due to the coronavirus health pandemic, which started in 2020.
