Cumulus Media Fresno News/Talk KMJ 580AM/105.9FM successfully raised $620,000 during its 10th Annual Feeding Families Fund Drive. Held on September 22, the one-day event took place to support the Central California Food Bank, addressing food insecurity in the region.

Over the past decade, the Feeding Families Fund Drive has generated more than $4.4 million to help local families in need. Donations are still being collected through the end of September, and contributors can donate at the Central California Food Bank’s website.

Cumulus Fresno Regional VP/Market Manager Patty Hixson exclaimed, “Every year this event gets bigger, and every year KMJ listeners respond with jaw-dropping generosity. Our very special thanks to the Musson family at Gar Bennett for their always unbelievable support and 50% match, which puts this drive over the top every year.”

KMJ Program Director Blake Taylor also commented, “Bringing our community together for the greater good is truly inspiring. Feeding so many families in need as we head into the holidays is the best feeling, and we couldn’t do it without our generous listeners and sponsors.”
