iHeart, Facebook’s Meta to Host VR Concert

iHeartMedia and Facebook parent company Meta Platforms are teaming up to produce a virtual reality concert. The show, J Balvin Futurum: A VR Concert Experience, will debut on Meta's virtual reality platform Horizon Worlds on February 17 at 9 p.m. Eastern Time.

WFOM to Air ‘Fair Tax’ Program

Dickey Broadcasting's WFOM (106.3 FM, Xtra) in Atlanta will host a special "Fair Tax" broadcast with Neal "Talkmaster" Boortz on Thursday, January 26 at 9 a.m. Boortz was one of the original proponents of the Fair Tax in the 1990s and co-authored The Fair Tax Book with former Rep. John Linder.

WGH Flips to Fox Sports

Max Media's WGH (1310 AM, 100.9 FM) has flipped its format from business news to Fox Sports. The station is one of two sports radio broadcasters operated by Max Media in the market, including WVSP (94.1 FM), an ESPN Radio affiliate. Dina Franza will serve as the station's brand manager.

SiriusXM Returns Billy Joel Channel

The Billy Joel Channel has made its annual return to SiriusXM satellite and streaming radio, running from January 4 to February 2 on SiriusXM Channel 14 and on the SiriusXM app. The channel comes several weeks before the start of a tour featuring Joel and fellow musician Stevie Nicks.
