Roberts Metro Broadcasting’s Foxy 106.9 (KXBS-HD2) is mourning the loss of St. Louis radio host Tammie Holland following her battle with cancer. With a broadcast career spanning over three decades, Holland co-hosted Foxy’s Real Breakfast Crew morning show.

Holland began her career in the mid-1990s as an intern at Majic 105 and was quickly put on the air. She later hosted Majic’s popular Tony and Tammie Morning Show. Her contributions extended beyond radio into television, acting, and podcasting, where she continued to touch lives with her charisma and joy.

To celebrate Holland’s remarkable life and career, Foxy 106.9 is hosting a special on-air tribute on July 22 at 8a and 5p local time. The station will feature inspirational songs and messages from those she influenced.

Program Director Don “DJ-Wrekk-1” Williams commented, “We are devastated to lose our dear friend and colleague. Tammie was not just a talented broadcaster; she was a kind, compassionate, and generous soul who touched countless lives. We are coordinating with Tammie’s family to support them during this challenging time.”
