Audacy Boston’s Mix 104.1 (WWBX) has renewed multi-year contracts with morning show co-hosts Karson Tager and Kennedy Elsey. The duo has hosted Karson & Kennedy on the station since 2009.

In addition to their radio presence, both hosts are actively involved in the community. Karson, a US Army veteran, resides in Charlestown with his family and is engaged with multiple local organizations. He has served on the board of the Red Sox Foundation and Charlestown YMCA, and was elected to the Charlestown Neighborhood Council in 2014.

Kennedy, who holds degrees in Theater and Psychology from Drake University, is an advocate for mental health. She serves on the board for Samaritans and is involved in various charitable activities, including fostering puppies for Great Dog Rescue New England and participating in events for the Special Olympics.

Tager commented, “In December 2008, my wife and I drove into Boston with Kennedy. We had no winter coats, and I had a head full of hair. 16 years later, I’m bald but can finally afford a good winter jacket. God and life are good. We’re also very grateful to the entire team behind the scenes for their support.”

Elsey said, “I came to Boston with two cats and my two friends excited (and terrified) for something new. The cats ran away, but Karson and Lana stuck with me through thick and thin. We are honored to make you laugh every morning. It’s a gift I get to open every day, and I’m so grateful.”
